Does Dr Runyon see cats and dogs?
Yes. Dr Runyon consults on all small animals. Some weigh 4.4 pounds (2 kg) while others weigh 220 pounds (100kg) Can I see Dr Runyon for a second opinion? Yes. Either you or your Vet can complete the Consultation section. Dr Runyon sends a copy of her findings to your regular Vet. Her goal is to review your information, & do a physical exam... then she will make recommendations based upon all the information & her professional experience... what does she find? Every case is different & it helps if you are able to be there in person but not always possible. Can I send Dr Runyon xrays & the case history for a second opinion? Yes. Either you or your Vet can complete the Consultation section. This consultation is a standard fee.+ HST Is there a consultation fee plus another fee to have a letter written for a specific reason? Yes the fee is standard. for the Consultation + a fee to have the letter written based upon the letter required . + HST Can I still see Dr Runyon at UPEI - Atlantic Vet College? No. Dr Runyon took early retirement from UPEI - AVC (Chief of Small Animal Surgery for 26 years). She currently sees clients in Montague, PEI and does surgery in both Montague and Riverview, NB - See schedule for the date of her next visits We took our dog to see Dr Runyon 10 years ago at AVC. Can we go for another consultation? Yes. Please complete the online Consultation request for Montague Vet Clinic and submit it. What should I take with my critter and I to the consultation? Dr Runyon requests all patients to fast 6-8 hrs prior to consultations and follow up appointments. Please request your regular Vet clinic to forward copies of all medical records including xrays to cr@drcrunyon.com What if I do not have electronic xrays? You can pick up any xrays from your local Vet and carry them along with you. What if I do not have any xrays? Xrays are not always needed. If they are needed then Dr Runyon will do them for you at the clinic. There are additional fees for xrays. Is there a consultation fee? Yes the consult fee is standard + HST |
